What is the IRIS Designation?
IFREC Residential Inspection Specialist
To obtain the designation, an applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Attend the 40 Hour Home Inspection Course.
- Pass the End of Course Exam with a minimum score of 70.
- Attend an IFREC onsite inspection.
- Take one elective course.
- Membership in a recognized Home Inspection trade association.
Upon completion of these requirements, IFREC will issue a certificate indicating the designation, a lapel pin and a logo to use on printed materials.
The designation is awarded to IFREC graduates who meet requirements set forth by IFREC Home Inspection Careers and is recognized solely by the Institute of Florida Real Estate Careers, Inc.
